"Argh!"
Someone, or something, was stumbling through the darkness that blanketed the territory along with the bitter cold that hovered over everything, making sure it was noticed. Whoever it was that was making their way into the valley was clearing having a difficult time; the wolf was being quite loud both vocally and step-wise. "Who made such a thing as darkness? Who made twigs fall onto the ground? Who made rocks that are scattered everywhere?" The voice was quiet and melodic, quite beautiful even with the menace hidden beneath it. It clearly belonged to a female; a female that was slowly, but surely, making her way into the clearing that lay ahead of her.
After what seemed like hours, the female finally stood in the valley and the bright light from the moon shone down upon her as if it were spotlighting her. Her figure was clearing visible then; it was easy to see she was beautiful, but she always denied it. Her figure was average for a female, though her body was quite thin, but not in an unhealthy way. Her legs were long and her paws were large; one would think she was good at running, but she was far from it. Her body was covered in a thin layer of silky black fur with a light gray undertone. There were bandage wrappings around both front legs, but they weren't from injuries. Silver markings were strewn throughout her fur and a foreign marking was embedded into her left shoulder, standing out more than her markings. That wasn't what stood out most, though. It was her eyes that caught most wolves attentions. They were pools of a crystal blue color that were almost hypnotizing; one could easily get lost in them.
"Ugh, finally," the female muttered, seeing that she was out of the brush that she had finally managed to escape from. She shook out her smooth fur, sending bits of dead leaves, twigs, and snow flying into the cool night air. She thought she was safe now that she was walking across a flat surface, but she was clearly wrong. As she walked without thought, she stepped over yet another twig, hidden beneath a patch of snow, and caused it to snap loudly, breaking the silence of the night. After she settled down, she somehow managed to trip over her own paws. "Oh!" she gasped, nearly falling face first into the ground. "God!" she grumbled, regaining her balance. "I'm such a klutz," she muttered, glad that no one was around to see her stumbling every other second like a pup that was just learning how to walk.

'Ugh... what the hell is all that racket?'
A large brute made his way silently through the valley, being one who loved it in the first place. That was why he had made a home of the Leiko Forest in the first place. However, a certain bitch seemed to change all that for him. Why couldn't she have left him alone? Good Lord, some wolves could be so incredibly terrible. It wasn't shocking, though. Kaizer was used to having bad things done to him. It wasn't fun. But he was used to it, and she had only reinvented that feeling. He woudn't make that mistake again. All wolves were stupid. Except him.
Kaizer tightened his jaw as the noise came again. 'Learn to walk, my God, it's not that hard, right?' He thought to himself, cyan eyes glaring off into the distance at the darkness that surrounded him. His thick, shaggy pelt was probably the deepest black, so it was nearly impossible to see him, others would only be able to make out the crystal clear, piercing blue eyes that he possessed. Most found them quite frightening, and that was just how Kaizer wanted them to appear. Any sensable wolf would just stay away, exactly what Kaizer wanted. He hated conversation with others, everyone was idiotic. Except him.
Glancing around quickly, Kaizer made his way into the soft silver moonlight at the same time of the disruptive creature who had made all the noise. He quickly moved his gaze back to the distance, praying he could safely get through without having to make any form of conversation with the she-wolf. Kaizer was never in the mood to talk to wolves, now being an acceptional time to keep that point in mind. Kaizer was pissed. Most wolves were easily pissed off. Kaizer, for once, being no acception. "You know, Eternity, if you were smart, you would have flown," the female said to herself, clearly unaware that another wolf was in the general area. Had she known, she probably still would have spoken out loud to herself. It was just how she was. She managed to take a few more steps into the valley without another stumble or a snap. Once she felt she was 'safe', she took a quick glance around the area, having just returned from the mountains that weren't too far away. Still, she hadn't noticed the other wolf. She thought she saw a flash of blue, but being the way she was, she just figured she was seeing things.
"Well," she muttered quietly to herself, frowning in slight frustration. "What to do now?" She had remembered meeting Inferno here. He was a strange fellow and she was still unsure of him, but she wasn't going to dwell on it. She hadn't seen him in who knew how long, anyhow. With an exasperated sigh, Eternity began to move forward, slowly at first, until she appeared to be sprinting across the valley. A moment later, she leapt into the air with a bright flash of light, now in the form of a black raven that held her coloring and markings, and, most importantly, her pale blue eyes. "Should've done that ages ago," she said, rolling her eyes at her own stupidity. Of course, there was always the chance that something would happen in the air. Being the klutz that she was, anything was possible.

'Well... what now?' Kaizer seemed to ask himself this question a lot now a days. There was nothing left for him here, why stay? There was one answer. There wasn't a reason to stay. The wolves here were crazy, more so than him. He was so tired of all the shit he'd had here. He'd talked to many times, and had let himself go too deep. Hell no, that wasn't going to happen again. Kaizer lost his temper so many times here, he'd come so close to killing that Kali female, and the only thing stopping him was the fact that if he had killed her, he'd of been doing her a favor. That was one favor Kaizer wasn't going to do her. She didn't deserve death.
Kaizer had forgotten almost completely about the female that was in the valley with him. That is, until she had decided to fly off like a bird. A low growl errupted from his chest as he jumped a little, seeing her take off into the night. That was a bit... odd. Kaizer stood still as he watched her fly, he was a bit interested. So she was able to turn into a raven... and yet he was only able to turn into some hell monster. Well that was nice. He took his gaze away again and focused once more on the silver moon that hung high above his head.

"Huh," Eternity mumbled, frowning mentally since she wasn't able to physically. "Something feels... odd." She turned her head, scanning the surrounding area with her beady pale blue eyes. She had the feeling that someone had been watching her and now she was just a little paranoid. Spreading her silky black wings, she took off into the sky, soon landing in the nearest tree. "Aha!" she whispered, having finally spotted out the other wolf in the valley. "No wonder I couldn't see him," she said, careful to keep her voice quiet. She wasn't sure if this wolf was hostile or not. However, being who she was - and how she was - she decided to step down from her perch and approach.
Having changed back into her wolf form, she took a few cautious steps forward, but didn't get too close. "Er.. hello!" she said, holding back. Her eyes narrowed slightly as she took in his appearance. Something about him said that he wasn't one of the most friendly of wolves around, but she wasn't one to judge right off the bat.

Dammit. Kaizer cursed himself mentally as he saw the wolf thing coming towards him. He was going to just turn and walk away, but why run from problems? That really wasn't anyway to solve anything. However, he really would've rather ignored conversation. He always did. Kaizer never spoke with anyone because no one ever really spoke to him. However, this wolf seemed... excitable. Not only did he not enjoy conversation, he really disliked the obnoxious ones who couldn't shut up. And as she spoke, he realized he wouldn't be getting away from that tonight.
"Hello." Kaizer muttered, and yet Kaizer's muttering was loud enough to be heard without a problem. That was the problem. Kaizer had a very loud, strong voice. Even though it was very rarely used. Kaizer didn't want to hate others, actually, yes he did. Who was he kidding?

It seemed obvious enough to Eternity that this wolf didn't want to talk. And if she kept talking, it would annoy him, and then she'd be in some pretty big trouble. With a frown, she shrugged slightly and moved on forward, though she didn't come close to where the male was. She didn't feel like having her head ripped off; not tonight. "Okay," she said, her tone neutral, but guarded. Her pale blue eyes stayed on his figure, wary of what he might do. Of course, he could just do nothing and she was just overreacting, but it never hurt to try and play it safe.
"I'll be on my way," she said, walking a good few yards away from him. She stopped a moment later, only to begin a quick sprint, and once again she was in something other than her wolf form. This time, though, she was in the form of a tiger, only the coloring was different to match hers. Her body was a bit larger, but not by much. 'Maybe I won't be clumsy this time,' she thought in her mind, knowing that cats seemed to be more graceful than wolves. However, one could never tell with her.

"I'm not gonna eat you." Kaizer snorted sarcasticly. Yeah, he could be pretty rude... but he wasn't really trying to be, it was just the way he happened to be. Kaizer wasn't sure why he was the way he was, he was just wired like that. And he didn't complain. Yes, he missed his old life. A mate, children, he was nice... and though he'd never admit it and didn't know it himself, that side of him wasn't gone, only way too deep inside of him for anyone to ever find. Like... ever. Kaizer really wasn't the type of guy to think about himself, or anyone else.

Eternity paused in her steps and turned around slightly, still in her tiger form. "You might say that now, but you could be planning it," she said, being quite serious. "Of course, what do I know? I'm not a mind reader or a fortune teller." She shrugged and took a few more steps, thinking over what she had just said. Sometimes she wished she had mind reading powers, just so she could know what others thought of her. She was glad she didn't have the power to see into the future, though. She wouldn't want to see what would happen. "Anyway, I'm Eternity," she said, throwing her name out there. Couldn't hurt, could it? [/blockquote]

Well as long as you don't piss me off to badly, I won't kill you... but what do I know? I let myself be used... He said, still feeling very stupid. It wasn't every day you could be stupid enough to lead yourself into a trap for heart break. But Kaizer was a very smart wolf. Genius, really. "Oh, darn. You got me." He said, rolling his eyes. "Kaizer." He replied, being the annoying, obnoxious self that he was. Kaizer was pretty mean, and was suprised that anyone would talk to him in the first place.

She frowned before turning back to the way she was headed. If he didn't want to be bothered, she wouldn't bother him. She wasn't that pushy. "Well, Kaizer, I'll leave you alone now," she said, looking over her shoulder, now back in her wolf form. She nodded once and started off again, though she wasn't quite sure where she was going or what she was going to do. It wasn't as if she knew anyone, save for Inferno, but she hadn't seen him in awhile.

Kaizer frowned. "I'm too damn scary..." He muttered to himself, forgetting he was loud and shaking his head. He didn't mean to be so intimidating. He was sarcastic, and mean. No one seemed to understand that was just the way he was. Who cared? He didn't. And honestly, he'd be better off alone. Who knew what would happen if that certain wolf got on his nearves enough and he tried to kill them? That would be bad.
Kaizer sighed to himself, glancing up at the stars. Why did he deserve this? He could be perfectly happy right now, with Palfree, Lenna, and his other pups. Instead, he was stuck living in this hell. He wished he could die... but he couldn't. He hated this immortality.

She was probably making a mistake, having decided to stop in her steps when she heard Kaizer speak again. 'Hm...' She was torn. Speak up again, or just go on her way? 'What's the worst that can happen?' she thought, but immediately knew the answer. 'Oh well. Not like I'm important or anything.' Shaking her head at herself, she turned around and headed back, though she stayed about a yard away, just as a precaution. "I don't think you're scary," she said, speaking honestly. She didn't judge; not right away, anyway. "You just seem like you don't want to deal with anyone." She shrugged. "I could be wrong. That happens a lot. Sorry to bother you," she said, raising her brows as she dropped her pale blue gaze to the ground. It was about all she could say until she knew that he wanted her gone or around.

Kaizer was torn. Sure, he wanted her gone. But at the same time, he wanted to make himself seem more social, because if he was gonna live forever, why not make the best of it, right? Hah, sure Kaizer, just keep telling yourself that. For one thing, others could be a pain, but then again, he figured that maybe if he built up more of a fuse... he'd be less likely to kill so many wolves. That was one thing he really hated about himself. So after a while, he decided on his answer. "Well, I don't care. I know I'm defiantly not the most intriguing wolf, but you're call. I'm not going to tell you to stay or go, that's not my place, and you wouldn't listen anyway." He said with a nod, glancing up at the moon with his cyan eyes. Most said they were evil eyes, but he didn't care. That was their opinion.

This time, Eternity looked up with an arched brow. She snorted, almost laughing, but stopped soon afterwards. "And how would you know I wouldn't leave?" she asked, trying not to laugh. "I know I seem like the kinda female that will annoy the hell out of you and not listen to a word you say, but I'm not," she said with a dignified nod. "Unlike some wolves, I can respect what others want." She paused, then added as an afterthought, "Besides, I really don't feel like being torn to pieces today. You seem to have something radiating off you. Anger or something like that." She shrugged. "But what do I know?"

'A lot more than I gave you credit for, apparently.' Kaizer thought to himself with a light smirk. "Alright, you win." He said, turning his gaze back to her. She was right, he was angry. Worse than that, he was quite pissed off. Some people just didn't know when to give in. Kali just didn't understand that it was her fault and that she had to blame herself. Yeah, like it was his fault that her mate died, she promised something, and then went and decided to use him as her mate. Oh yeah, because it was every wolf's fault who fell in love. That was it. "If I am angry, it's not your problem, so I won't trouble you with my issues." He said, moving his gaze off into the distance again. Kaizer had a way of keeping all of his problems to himself, and he planned to do that for a very long time. Who else would purposely want to listen to his issues?

"Okay, fair enough," she said with a shrug, watching him inconspicuously. So, she was right about him being angry. She vaguely wondered what it was, but it wasn't affecting her, so she didn't dwell on it. "So, what's a guy like you doing out here on a night like this?" she asked, trying to turn the conversation over to a lighter note; if that were possible. She didn't know. "If I'm asking too much, feel free to ignore me," she added a moment later, smiling very faintly.

Well, if she really wanted to get into detail, he could say he was getting as far away from Kali The Bitch as physically possible, but then that would get into the conversation of why he was so angry. So he had to think of something else to say, that wasn't lying. What was he supposed to say? He wasn't really sure. After a minute, he thought of something that wasn't lying... but wasn't telling the full truth. "Avoiding an argument." He stated with a small shrug. His voice was almost careless, as if it didn't matter. But that was kinda the whole reason he was so pissed off. However, you wouldn't be able to tell. His expression remained calm and as did his eyes. He could hold back his emotions until you really pissed him off, that's when you could tell he was mad.

Eternity nodded silently, frowning in thought. She wasn't going to ask why, nor was she going to ask who it was about. It wasn't any of her business, so why bother? She turned her pale blue gaze up to the sky and squinted, somewhat confused. "Is it always this dark here?" she asked suddenly as a chill went down her spine. She shivered visibly, her fur not being thick, nor long enough, to keep her warm. "And cold?" She looked back down, glancing at him sideways. "I haven't been here too long. I've only run into one other wolf and he was... not too much help," she said, shaking her head at the thought of Inferno. He was different, that was for sure.

Kaizer also glanced up to the sky, barely moving his head as he did so. "No," He stated, not exactly sure what was wrong. "I came back to these lands from leaving for a while... and before it was just fine. Even quite nice." Kaizer stated, frowning a little. "I haven't exactly taken the time to find out what exactly fucked things up here... but this really isn't the normal state of the land." He said, even a little afraid, maybe, because he had heard there was a disease going through the land that killed you. He had heard nothing of a cure, and that made it seem scarier. The only reason that he didn't want to get this disease was because he was immortal and couldn't die from it, he could only mostly die. At that point, Kaizer would be begging for death.
