This unbearable cold was unfamiliar, almost foreign as well as the suffocating darkness that revolved around this intriguing land that this interesting looking wolf had stumbled upon. The fine layer of snow that blanketed the ground was also new and mysterious to him. The land all together was different. It was something he wasn't used to. Something that was new. Something that spoke of a better life, hopefully. The strange thing wasn't the land or anything it carried, though. The strange thing was the wolf that was walking through the valley slowly, taking in everything he could see. The wolf was an eyesore. He was clearly different from any other wolf, and a lot of the times, most wolves didn't like that. They didn't like what they were unfamiliar with. Familiar was more comforting to them. This wolf was not.
The wolf was large; much too large to the average sized male. His statuesque body towered over many that came across him, making many wolves assume he was a form of evil. Muscles could clearly be seen rippling beneath his fur, which really didn't appear to be normal fur that wolves had. It was thin, very thin, but smooth to the touch. It was a mix between dark gray and black, though, it didn't really resemble either of the colors very well. Upon his head was a golden headdress striped with black. Two long, golden earrings pierced through each of his large, leathery bat-like ears. A gold band clung to his upper right leg and two golden cuffs were around both front ankles and a golden cloth hung around his waist. There was a large scar that went down his right eye, and another scar that appeared to be an eye embedded into his right leg, just above the golden band.
He walked across the meadow nonchalantly, but he was still unsure of the land and the wolves that resided in it. Regardless of what they had to say, though, he wasn't going to let it get to him. He was different, yes, but it shouldn't be a reason for other wolves to put him down just because they were unfamiliar with what he was or who he was. A lot of them knew nothing about him. No one ever really wanted to know anything about them because, as said before, they didn't like what was unfamiliar to them. But, whatever happened would happen. He'd be around none the less.

“Snow, snow, oh I love the snow,” Sung a voice from the other end of the meadow. “Snow and I, Snow and me, Snow is my love and I love thee!” It continued on, giggling in intervals as the made-up tune crossed the flat land. Finally, leaping out into full view, the owner of the song became apparent. From a distance, the body looked male although the voice was definitely female. The wolf was large, not fat but very muscular and tall. In fact, the figure was very lean and looked only to be made of muscle and bone. Blue-silver fur danced on top of the snow, weaving a pattern across the layer as if the figure were making a mosaic. The wind drifted around the figure and picked up its scent of sea water. In fact, the flashy fur did drip water as if the wolf had just gotten out of a lake or body of water. Dancing behind the figure was a very large tail made up of what could have been long strands of hair, like a horse, or long bird feathers. Either way, the tail was dark blue and flashed as much as the body did. A mane of the same material of the tail grew on the back of the figure’s neck, giving the appearance of a bright peacock.
“Snow, snow, be my mate, for I love you,” The voice continued to sing, “Oh dear Sn-“ a sudden break in the verse as sparkling eyes caught site of the large male across from it. The wolf’s pace picked up immediately, tail streaming behind it like a long banner announcing its presence.
“Hey, you!” The wolf barked, tail wrippling in what would be a wag. As the wolf grew closer, it’s eyes and feminine step made it known the wolf was in fact a female. “Hey, what’re you doing here bub?” She asked boldly, now very close to the giant male.

There was a strange noise in the distance that caught Atsu's attention. To him, it sounded shrill and, quite frankly, annoying. He had never heard such an awful thing before. Well, he probably had; it was just locked away in his mind somewhere, long forgotten. Turning his head to see where the terrible noise was coming from, his gray eyes spotted out another form. Another wolf? Possibly. What else was around here?
He came to an abrupt stop and waited to see if the wolf would get closer. From his vantage point, he couldn't tell if it was male or female. He didn't care much, he just wanted to meet someone else. He had had no company for many years, not since after the.. accident. The thought of that caused the memories to come back and he felt a great sense of remorse, but was soon shaken out of it when he heard the wolf speaking. Having forgotten about that for the brief second he was out of it, his head snapped around to see who it was.
"Hello...," he said, seeming quite hesitant to answer. He wasn't sure if she was speaking to him or not, but no one else was around. He was clearly taken aback; shock was written straight across his face and was visible. "I am... I am.. I.." He was also clearly at a loss for words. He didn't know a lot of English and that was evident. When he spoke it, his voice sounded rough and foreign, nothing like a wolf that spoke English. "أنا هنا لأنّ أنا تعثّرت عبر هذا مكان (I am here because I stumbled across this place)," he said, his voice now sounding normal as his native tongue was spoken. He had a strong feeling this female would have no idea what he had said. Most wolves didn't. ooc;; craaaap. >.< I think I might just put it all in English and PRETEND he's speaking Arabic because it's a pain in the butt having to translate.

ooc: Haha, not a problemmmm. I don't care either way!!
bic: Brow lifted high in curious surprise as she watched him react to her. A broad grin spread acros shis face as fast as she could get it on there, and a chuckle followed after the smile. "You are far, far from home my friend," She stated and sat down. Lagre tail fanned out behind her in the process as she tilted her head. She flattened her ears back onto her head in deep thought. She didn't know his language, but she remembered a trip she'd made to Egypt fifty years ago. She didn't remember a think besides: "I know only English." This she said, very roughly, in his language. "Need to teach English?" It was rough, and she knew it was rough, but her tail wagged in a genuine gesture.
She knew how bad it felt to feel alone in a whole country. That's why should could never stay in the foreign places longer than her curiousity forced her. She shifted her bulk, looking past him. How had he gotten here? She looked back to him, brilliant eyes examining him. What exactly was he? He appeared wolf, in his build at least, but she smelled a power to him she only smelt among her family. Odd.
ooc: sorry short. food + sick = distracted fingers =]

It was obvious Atsu had no idea what this female had said. When she was speaking in English, that is. His brows pulled together in complete confusion as he tried to pick out what she had said. For all he knew, she could have put some voodoo curse on him. He was quite surprised when she spoke in his language. It wasn't the best, but it was definitely better than nothing. Perhaps he wasn't at a complete loss after all.
"Yes..." he said, this time speaking in English. It was one of the few words he knew. Why he hadn't learned the English language in the first place was a mystery to himself. Seeing her stare at him in such a manner caused him to feel suddenly self concious. He couldn't help it, though. He always felt this way when another wolf, mainly ones that were comfortable with what was familiar to them, stared at him as if he was an alien from another planet. It was partially true, in a way. ooc;; suckage. =/

Nodding her head, she stood up. Her body shook with adrenalinel. One of her favorite things in this world was a challenge. The challenge itself made her appriciate her long life and kept her from begging for death. She'd never taught anyone a language, and she knew it'd be a very rough road since she could barely remember what she knew from it in the first place.
None the less, her large tail continued to wave like a proud flag. She had no idea he'd grown self concious, especially since she never thought he had a reason to be. Granted, he was very strange. But she was a walking mutation herself, so what did she notice about normal and abnormal? Pretty much nothing.
"My... hell- name... is.... Venus," She said very slowley. At first she accidently said "hello" instead of "name". Realizing what she'd started to say, she quickly stuttered out the correct word. "My bad," she said in English.

He had no idea what, but when she spoke again, he found it very amusing. His head raised slightly as a deep laugh rumbled in his chest, pale gray eyes glowing faintly. After a moment or two, he settled down, shaking his head. "I am sorry," he said in his native language as he sat down slowly. He understood what she had said, having come across many wolves that had said the same thing. Eventually, he had picked up on it. "My name is Atsu," he replied easily, for it was something he said often when he was given the chance.
