This is a story I'm writing. Its about a wolf who is unhappy with her life, and goes out to lead her own. Lots of animals are in the story, but the main characters are a wolf, fox, dog, and a coyote. There are many characters, but most of them come later.
This is just the epilogue, not the whole story. So, it will pic up form the end of the epilogue when I'm writing the story.
“Why are you so upset? It’s just a game. You don’t have to always win you know!”
Inferno yelled at Aoimori. Inferno and Aoimori were brother and sister. They always fought, and played, and didn’t usually get along. They were three years of age now, a time when maturity starts to kick in. Inferno is older than Aoimori, but just by a few minutes. He uses that to his advantage though.
Aoimori meant green, or forest in the wolf world. It was part of her personality. She loved the nature, and to be secluded in the woods was her image of paradise. Her main fur color is a light brown, and her underbelly is a perfect white that she always keeps clean. The top of her tail is a darker brown, like the color of Cedar Tree bark. She has the same color fur as a mane on the back of her neck. Her ears share the color, as well as a strip of it on her maw. The fur behind her eyes is a striking shade of auburn that make her bright green eyes stand out within her brown fur. There is no doubt that she is the most beautiful wolf in the pack, and possibly the most beautiful wolf ever.
Inferno meant fire, which was like his personality. He was fiery and hot tempered. He likes to fight, and hunt when ever he has the chance. He likes killing other wolves for fun. His main fur color is a dark reddish-brown. Not the auburn like his sister’s, but a very dark red, which over powers the brown in his fur. The fur on his stomach is a shade of gray with small amounts of tan mixed in. His front paws are a dark red, while his back paws are tan. The fur on his head is mangy; the red fading into the same tan on his underbelly. His eyes were the same bright green of his sisters. He didn’t like his sister that much, he envied her actually. He was jealous of her beauty, so tried to show the bad parts of her to others.
“Well, neither do you, Inferno! You know I’m bad at this game, why do you force me to play?! I didn’t even want to play, that’s why I lost you idiot!” Aoimori yelled at her brother. She started to run to her mom. She ran fast, she was very quick and swift. She could hear her brother trailing behind her, but she didn’t care.
“Mom! Mom! Inferno did it again! He made me play the ‘seek and hunt’ game, then he made fun of me!”
“Did not,” Was heard form Inferno.
The slender dark brown wolf sighed, and then pulled on both of their scruffs. This was their mother, Maya. She had some specks of black on her fur, but her main fur color was dark brown. Her tail is tan, and so is her maw. The fur surrounding her turquoise eyes is white, same as the fur on her chest.
“I’m tired of you two fighting. Inferno, you should take care of your sister, not hurt her more!” Maya
Inferno let out a huff of air, then ran off to his den. It was beside their parents, who were the alphas of the pack. HE enjoyed being beside them. Aoimori had her den far away from anyone. It was the den at the very end of the pack territory. She liked to be secluded.
Aoimori wasn’t any happier than Inferno. She didn’t like him; he didn’t even try to like her. But, she scampered off to her small den as well.
****************************************************
In Aoimori’s den, she cried. She hated her life. Hated her brother, hated her parents, pack mates, everyone. She even hated where her pack lived. It was so bleak. She lived in a small forest outside of a human city. They tried as hard as they could to stay away from the humans, but Aoimori often traveled to see them. But, she hated the wolves. She would rather be with the humans. Unfortunately, she will realize how wrong she is about that.
