It was strange, really. This feeling he had felt was one he had never experienced before. It was wondrous and euphoric. Different, but nice. It felt right, though, especially with Minuit. She was fairly different from the other females he had come across in his travels. She didn't try to get on his good side just to get a spell done. She didn't look down upon him for being who he was. She was intelligent and quite fun to be around. He could have a conversation about something ridiculous with her and not get bored. He liked that, and he liked her. But 'like' had been turning into 'love' and he soon realized he was, well, in love with her. He could only hope she was feeling the same, but if she didn't, he wouldn't create a scene or anything of the sort. He would respect her.
He wanted it to be right, hence the reason why he had left by himself in order to do all of this. It needed to be perfect, but not overdone. He wanted it to take place at the waterfall, mainly because it only added on to the 'beauty' of it all, so to say. Casting as many spells and creating as many spells he had just done had taken far too much of his energy, but he was slowly re-cooperating. With the waterfall, he had made the area warmer, but only in a ten mile radius. Lush green trees that would have been bare if they were normal were set up around the waterfall with a small clearing in the middle, hidden by the curtain of green leaves that hung down. The smell of roses, daisies, and tulips drifted throughout the air, their petals scattered about in the small clearing created by the trees, coming in a variety of colors one wouldn't normally see. The songs of bluebirds, robins, finches, and other various birds could be heard within the clearing as well, making it seem like it were spring already.
Abaddon hoped he hadn't overdone it. He wasn't sure, and he was worried. What if Minuit didn't like it? What if she thought he was insane? He shook his head, clearing the thoughts from his mind. He needed to be positive, and he was trying to be, but under it all, he was a nervous wreck. This was all new to him. He wasn't sure what to expect. His breathing was slow and even, but his heart was going out of control as he sat in the clearing, anxiously awaiting Minuit. There was no denying the chemistry between them. There was definitely something there and they were both aware of it, just afraid to take the next step. And so, that's why he was there. He was going to take that risk and hopefully, it would end pleasantly.

She walked. Slowly edging towards where Abaddon had told her to meet him. She was nearvous beyound nearvous, and with every step it was getting warmer... and more... spring like. This was definatly part of Abaddon's plan. It was pretty suprising, to see all of this. Espically in the middle of winter. But she liked it. It made her feel... like she was someone special.
The saying 'To the world you are but one person, but to one person you could be the world.' Is definatly one of importance. It was completely truthful to the way that Minuit felt about Abaddon. Quite obviousally they liked eachother, but gradually that same feeling increased into something more. It had made its way to love. A feeling she had never known, and had now discovered. What bothered Minuit was... did he love her back?
She didn't want to worry about that, but her mind kept meandering its way back to the subject. She was worried. But - being good at hiding things - she looked as if nothing was wrong, simply kept a smile on her face and looked suprised. Which she was. And that was good.
She came into the clearing, smelling the flowers and hearing the birds, loving the warmth and lush green effects of all of it. She took a deep breath, taking in the wonderful delicious effect that it seemed to give off. Ah-mazing. She heard the rush of the waterfall in the background and it made her feel like it was late spring. Why couldn't it be spring already? It felt so good. She soon noted the familiar scent of Abaddon, and her heart started to beat out of her chest. She grinned faintly, and walked over to him. "Wow." She said to him. "This is... amazing." She couldn't think of another way to describe it.

A warm smile spread across Abaddon's maw, reaching his pale gray eyes. He was relieved she liked it, but still worried none the less. This was a first for him, but he wasn't sure about Minuit. She had never said anything about a previous love, or maybe she had and he hadn't been listening. The smile faded somewhat as he began to worry about that as well. What if he had missed something at some point? Had he? Did he? He started to feel a little panicky, but he forced it down as he turned his gaze back to Minuit. "It's not too much?" he asked, trying to sound casual but failing miserably. Worrying was getting to him. He didn't want to look like a fool, but he knew he did.
"I didn't want to over-do it, but I wanted it to be.. almost perfect," he said, seeming to struggle with his words. He shook the feelings of worry away and tried to focus on being more positive and upbeat. "It took a lot out of me, but it was worth it." His grin returned, but it didn't quite reach his eyes this time. "Well, maybe. I guess you're worth it," he said with an attempt to make a joke, trying to lighten the mood.

Minuit grinned at his joke. "Well I hope I'm worth it, because if I wasn't than what was the point of this whole thing?" She asked like it was painfully obvious. "And I don't think you over-did it, I think it looks nice." She said with a nod. "And definatly feels a lot better." She added truthfully.

"Maybe there is no point to all of this," he said as a look of suspicion crossed over his expression. "Maybe something took over my body and forced me to do all of this when I had no idea what I was really doing. You know, it could have happened. These things do happen." He was being quite serious, but he was joking underneath it all. However, it was very convincing and most wolves would probably believe him. He doubted that Minuit would fall for it. She didn't strike him as the gullible type.
"Well, I'm glad you like it," he said as he returned back to his 'normal' self. "I wouldn't want all my hard work wasted." He flashed a toothy grin and let his silver gaze roam around the surrounding area. It was nice getting away from the cold even though they weren't really away from it all. His spells would disappear soon enough and they would be back into the world of reality. He had to do this quick before everything disappeared, not that it was going to anytime soon. He turned back to Minuit, grinning faintly, and took a deep breath before speaking. "Well, I guess you know that there's some reason behind all of this," he said, speaking slowly and casually, trying to fight off the wave of nervousness that just hit him.

Minuit smiled. She was used to his sarcasm probably just as much as he was used to hers. And then she spoke again. "Yes... some point. And what that point is, well I couldn't guess." She said, in quite a believable manner. Truthfully, she just wanted to make him say it. She knew why they were there. But of course, being Minuit she had to make him say it.

"You know I'm on to something, don't you?" he asked, glancing at her with another look of suspicion. Maybe she already knew. Was he that much of an open book? A frown twisted its way across his maw, but he quickly shook it off and put on a grin. "Well, the point of all of this is to get you on my good side and...." He stopped, his grin widening. "Alright, I'll be serious." All signs of amusement and playfulness were gone, covered by a serious look. "I'll make it short. After all this time we've spent together, I've grown to like you a lot. And, well, I believe now it's changed to love," he said, having no trouble speaking easily although he was feeling quite nervous inside.
His grin faltered just a bit; he wanted to turn away because he felt terribly nervous and sick to his stomach, but he didn't. He hoped sometime good came out of this. He was pretty sure it would. "Well, I've fallen in love with you. What more can I say?" His grin weakened even more, but he didn't lose his cool. "If you don't feel the same way, it's fine. I can respect that. I just thought I'd get that off my chest."

Minuit was more than a little suprised by Abaddon's words. They made her think about the way she felt about him. Coming to realize it, she loved him too. She had - for a long time - liked him a lot... but had never really thought about it. And if there was such a thing as love, she must love him.
Her expression was blank before quite some time before some form of emotion crossed her face. It was that of suprise, happiness, and more shock. "Oh well... I never really thought about it." She admitted. After a minute, she spoke again. "But... I think I love you too." She said, getting all-too-nearvous and looking away.

He wasn't quite sure what to make of her reaction, but he didn't question it. It wasn't a surprise to him that they felt the same way, but maybe saying it out loud had changed things a little. He wasn't sure. He had never done anything like this before, let alone felt like this before. He averted his gaze and let it drop to the ground, frowning slightly. "So, you only think?" He asked in a quiet, being half serious, half joking. "Well, it's fine. Like I said, if you don't feel the same way, it's no big deal." He shrugged and let his pale silver gaze roam over the surrounding area, not being able to look back at Minuit.

"No, no. Don't get me wrong... I do. I just mean that I've never felt this way and so it's kind of new to me." She stated quietly, looking out past him, trying not to let his gaze catch hers. This feeling... was weird. But she liked it. It wasn't that much of a shock that he loved her, too.

"You're not the only one who feels that way," Abaddon muttered quietly, gazing off into the distance with a far-away look in his eyes. "Well, will figure it out, I'm sure," he said a moment later, looking back to Minuit. It was then when he felt it. It wasn't very noticeable at first, but it gradually grew to a dull, aching pain. He suddenly felt weak; as if he had cast many spells and his energy was drained. It also felt like someone was slowly suffocating him; his breathing was becoming rapid and shallow. His pale silver eyes grew in shock and fear. Little did he know the disease that had infected the land was now in his system, slowly killing him.
