Tired Of everything around me I smile But I don’t feel a thing no
I’m so far from where I need to be I’ve given up on faith, on everything All I want, all I need Is some peace
There’s a hole Inside of me It’s so cold Slowly killing me
Secrets Eating at the core of me Shut off Trusting all the lies I breathe
I’m so far from where I need to be I’ve given up on faith, on everything All I wanted, all I needed Was some peace
There’s a hole Inside of me
It’s so damn cold Slowly killing me
Sinking ever so slowly So far from where I should be No hands reaching out for me Help me, help me
Something’s gone I can feel it It’s all wrong I’m so sick of this
There’s a hole Inside of me It’s so cold Slowly killing me There’s a hole Inside of me It’s so damn cold Slowly killing me
Skyla shivered as she sat in the snow, her tail was curled around her tightly. Her lavender eyes were focused upon the dark sky above her. That wolf – Donovan – scared her to death. For a moment she actually believed she was going to die, the thought sent a shiver running down her spine, causing her to grind her teeth together. Her father and she talked it over and he promised her she would be alright, but she didn’t believe him. They didn’t believe her. Why should she believe them? Ever since she first told them about her sister, Hope, they never believed her. At first they went along with it pretending to ‘believe’ in her imaginary friends, but Raven and Kiba teased her about it…but now that she was five months almost six they told her she needed to stop playing these games.
What games? She didn’t understand. She wasn’t lying. Hope WAS their sister and her parents’ daughter, why couldn’t they believe her? She sighed and pressed her ears back upon her forehead. She felt like she didn’t belong. She felt secluded from her family. Like whatever she said or thought didn’t matter. Maybe they didn’t take her seriously because she did have a big imagination and she did get in trouble, but most of the time Skyla was being honest.
A sigh escaped her maw as she shifted her weight. She wasn’t sure what she was supposed to do. Her parents told her over and over again that she was their ‘heir’ because she was first born…she didn’t quite understand it all that she knew is that she was going to have their job when they died. She didn’t really understand their importance of their job…at least not yet…so as of right now Skyla didn’t care. She snorted as she turned her gaze back down to the snow beneath her. It was freezing! Why couldn’t spring come already?
I’m all alone. No one understands me. She thought as a single tear fell from her lavender eye.

Small black paws pressed lightly against the contrasting snow. A lavender and a sky blue eye searched the area. Her eyes flickered as she ducked behind snow pile. She looked around and came back out. She spotted her sister instantly.
Sometimes she wondered about Skyla. If there was something wrong with her, or if she just wanted attention. Being at her young age, she thought she wanted attention. Sometimes she would consider this 'Hope' character but she found it unlikely.
But nobody would take it more serious than her. Raven felt a little sorry for her though, she wanted to see who 'Hope' was. She wanted to understand. But being herself, and Skyla being herself. They were total opposites. Indeed they were okay as younger pups, but they just started drifting apart.
With a sigh, Raven scuddled across the bright white snow and near her sister. Seeing that tear, Raven instantly moved a little closer.
"S-Skyla...? A-Are you alright?" she asked carefully. Jeez, it was really cold!

It took a moment for Skyla to realize that her sister was near her. She lifted her head from the ground and turned to look at her sister with a frown. "No." She said simply. For a split second she considered saying everything was fine, but then that would obviously would be a lie.
She shook her head. "Nothing is right, Raven...everything is wrong..." She said then turned her head away from her sister. No body understood. Skyla didn't understand. She didn't understand how come she could hear Hope. She didn't quite understand the concept that her sister had died and what she was hearing was only a spirit.
She turned and looked back toward her sister. "Raven. What is wrong with me?"

Raven's eyes softened. She felt kind of bad for Skyla.
She was quiet for a long while, not knowing how to answer the question. "I-I don't know..." she finally said.
She took a deep breath letting it out slowly. "Look. I'll just tell you this now. If you want everybody to treat you normal, quit talking about this Hope person. We all cannot see her...so why can you?" she said, not in a angry tone, but not in a happy one.

Skyla frowned at her sister. "I donno. I donno why I can see her and hear her...but you all can't..." She said with a sigh looking away. "But I'm not lying." She said. She wasn't sure what she could do or say to prove that Hope was real...or well...Skyla thought. She knew it wasn't her imagination. If it was an imaginary friend she would have ended that a long time ago. She no longer made little fake stories to please her parents and siblings...but she guessed she went to far with her 'imagination' because now they wouldn't believe her when she was telling the truth.
