Abaddon made his way back over to the three of them and grinned although he was feeling exhausted. Casting spells that weren't really needed wore him out to no end. He looked down to Chaos and shook his head, though he was still grinning. "Sorry kids, that's all I've got for right now. Maybe another day I'll take you guys over to the lake and show you something even cooler than that." He paused for a moment and looked over to Minuit. "If it's alright with your mother, of course," he added as he looked back to them. "Maybe she'd like to come with us?" It was more of a question rather than a statement. He looked sideways at Minuit, the grin still in place. "What do you say?" He continued trying to look like he was cheerful, but casting the spell was beginning to take its toll on him. He felt that he was going to collapse at any given moment, but he had to keep it together even if it was hard. It was easy to see because his grin didn't reach his eyes, which were now dark and cloudy, having lost their spark.
Calamity grinned widely, looking from Abaddon to Minuit with gleaming eyes. "OOOH! Can we? Canwecanwecanwe?!" she asked excitedly, jumping up and down in the snow. "Say yes, say yes, say yes!"

"Yeah mom! Can we? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee?!?!" Chaos begged, still grinning by how cool that was. "It would be fun and you'd have fun too!" He prompted, jumping up and down excitedly. -x- "Hmmmmm... if you two behave yourselves, and get along I think we can. But only if." She said with a smile. She loved to put conditions on things.

Calamity sighed in exasperation and rolled her eyes. "Duuuuh!" she said as if it were obvious. If she had to behave in order to see what else Abaddon could do, she would.
Abaddon grinned easily, though he was beginning to feel even more tired. His ears drooped slightly and his silver eyes darkened more. "We might have to wait awhile," he said lightly in order not to disappoint the pups. His gaze turned to the sky and his eyes narrowed in confusion. Hadn't it been light out just moments before? When had this darkness come over? His gaze then turned to Minuit, wondering if she had taken notice of this change as well. "This can't be good...," he murmured quietly so the pups wouldn't hear.

"Alright, whatever. Behave... yeah." Chaos said, not really paying attention to his mother anymore and now more interested in the snow around him. He had gotten bored of his mother's talking long ago. -x- "I think you're right..." Minuit mumbled, looking up to the sky. "There's something terribly wrong, here." She said, equally quiet so her pups couldn't hear her talking.

Calamity was soon occupied with her own thoughts as she began to wander aimlessly in the ankle deep snow. She was no longer paying attention to either of the adults or her brother, having lost interest in them just moments ago. When she was a yard or two away, she plopped down into the snow and nearly yelped at how cold it was. She jumped up abruptly with a sour look cast upon her face and marched over to where the other three were. "It's coollldd!" she whined, making a face as she shivered violently.
Abaddon frowned in thought, turning his gaze up to the darkened sky again. It was cold, almost insanely cold. Why hadn't he noticed it before? He turned his gaze back to Minuit, worry filling his silver eyes. "This isn't good," he said, not bothering to keep his voice low enough to where the pups couldn't hear. He looke down to Calamity and smiled in sympathy. "You're right. I'll do something about that, though I can't say that it will heat up the entire land." He got up and walked a few feet away, drawing a large circle in the snow with his claw. He sat down beside it and closed his eyes, murmuring something that was unheard. A moment later, the circle lit up with different shades of blue flame, similar to the flames he had cast earlier before the pups had arrived. "That should do it," he called over to them, beginning to feel drained once more. He wouldn't show it, though. He didn't want anyone to worry.

Chaos laughed. "I like it!" He said with a smile. He personally loved the snow. It was cold though. "But is it really supposed to be this cold?" He asked, frowning. -x- "Thanks Abaddon." Minuit said with a warm smile, but she could tell he was tired. "You can take a rest or something if you'd like. You've helped me out insanly." She said.

Calamity grinned widely and rushed over to the straneg blue flames, careful not to get too close. "Wow! What else can you do?" she asked Abaddon, gazing into the flames with mild curiousity. She immediately began to feel less of the cold as the warm flames heated her small body. There was an inexplicable 'warm and fuzzy' feeling now taking over and she was beginning to feel rather tired.
Abaddon smiled faintly and shook his head, lowering himself down to his stomach. "No worries...," he said, his voice seeming rather distant. "It's just all this spell casting that's making me tired. Nothing bad.." He rested his head upon his paws and sighed quietly. Along with his energry being drained, there was a small dull pain that began to make its appearance in his head. He wasn't going to say anything, though. It usually went away after a day or two.

"I'm really cold now." Chaos said, moving over to the blue flames, getting slightly tired out by his own energy. The world had no idea what a problem one wolf could grow up to be... like Chaos would. How many wolves he'd end up hurting... how much pain he'd cause the world. -x- "Well you can rest, if you want." Minuit said with a smile, watching the two pups getting sleepier by the minute. "I think they're getting slightly tired too."

In minutes, Calamity was out like a light. It had been a long day and she had worn herself out greatly. Before long, her soft snores could be heard in what little silence there was. When she was asleep, she looked like an angel. There was no possible way she could be the rambunctious pup that she was when she was awake. But, that was untrue.
Abaddon raised his head from his paws and shook it slowly, his smile becoming more pronounced. "No, it's fine. Really. This is just a normal thing that happens." He shrugged slightly. "Besides, it helped you out a lot," he said, chuckling softly as his gaze fell upon the sleeping pups. "You should be thanking me," he said in a mock serious tone with a stern look cast upon his face.

As her sister, Chaos was sleeping soundly infront of the blue flames. With deep, even breaths, the small wolf pup looked like an angel. If only they knew. In maybe a year or so, this pup would cause so many others pain... so much misery would come from the wolf laying before this fire it was uncomprehendable. If only they knew. -x- Minuit rolled her eyes sarcastically and sighed. "Right, right." She paused, and then continued. "Oh Abaddon, mighty great one. I thank you ever so much for your immense help with everything." She said with a wry smile.

Abaddon's brows furrowed together and he made a face. "Sheesh, no need to sound thankful," he said dryly, rolling his eyes. "Maybe I'll just take my business elsewhere..." He let his sentence drift at that as a devious glint flickered in his silver eyes. He chuckled quietly to himself, letting his gaze wander across the meadow with acute interest. He was beginning to grow restless, mainly because he hated staying in one area for so long. But if he had to be there to stay around Minuit, he'd do it without complaints. He looked back to her, grinning widely, and winked playfully. He was in an odd mood then, and for no real reason.

"You shouldn't leave... then I'd be sad." Minuit said with a playful grin at Abaddon. "I actually don't think you would leave now..." She challenged with a grin. She knew Abaddon might pretend to leave but she knew he wouldn't actually leave... not now, anyways.

All traces of playfullness were gone as a dead serious look set over his expression. His pale silver eyes hardened and darkened as if a shadow had passed over them, but there was nothing that could have done so. He stood up slowly, very slowly, and looked at Minuit with a look that was enough to make one drop dead. Of course, he wasn't that powerful. That would never happen. "You shouldn't doubt me," he said in a low, flat tone. Something glowed in his eyes, but it vanished in a second. He shook his head and turned around, starting to head off into the surrounding area. Moments later, he had vanished from view and all traces of him were soon gone. [/blockquote]

Minuit was slightly... no... very shocked at this. How could something like what she had just said offended him or whatever had happened? None the less... that irritated her immensly and she was slightly angry. If this was some sort of joke... she didn't find it funny, not in the least. "Know what? Fine." She said in an acidic tone with her eyes narrowed and glaring like fire to burn anyone around her. Yeah, she was slightly pissed. Minuit was in no mood to be messed with. She had enough on her mind already.

Out of nowhere, Abaddon appeared in front of Minuit as if out of thin air. "Come on now... you didn't think I'd really leave you, now did you?" he asked quietly with a soft look in his eyes. He wasn't trying to be a jerk or seem like he was just fooling around. He was trying to see if she had any faith in him. He didn't think he would have made her mad; that wasn't his goal. He sighed and averted his gaze, feeling slightly ashamed of himself right then. "I'm sorry I made you mad. I didn't plan on it." He frowned and looked back to her, his expression serious. "Truth is, I don't think I could ever leave you. Even if I wanted to, I wouldn't be able to manage it..." He went silent after that, not really sure where he was going with all of this. Maybe nowhere. Maybe somewhere. Maybe he had a point. Maybe he didn't.

Minuit thought for a minute... he did seem quite serious. But after just giving birth and finding out she had two devil children how was she supposed to be able to tell when one could hide things so well if he was only fooling around or not. She took a deep breath, still looking at him... as if trying to find something. Truth is... she knew she couldn't stay mad at him, but she wanted to at least attempt it. Though she failed. "It's alright... I'm sorry I got so angry for seemingly no reason." She said, looking down.

Abaddon relaxed slightly, but not completely. He still felt bad for making her angry, but he couldn't help but grin at her. She brought out the best in him, more so than any other wolves ever had. "It's alright, I forgive you. Besides, you had every reason to be mad at me. What if I really was leaving?" His grin shortened some and a brow arched. He had no intentions of leaving. Not even 'fake' leaving. He would be around until she told him to get lost. "You're stuck with me for quite some time, you know," he said, all signs of playfullness gone once again. "Until you tell me to leave."

"Then it looks like you're not gonna be leaving for a long time." Minuit replied, also being serious and yet still smiling. Minuit was so comfortable around Abaddon. She didn't have to hide herself... the real Minuit. And it was funny because she had only known him for about two days and yet somehow he'd taken the best of her. It was all too weird.

"Are you sure about that?" he asked, beginning to grin. "What if you get bored of me? Will you toss me away like a piece of trash?" He couldn't help but chuckle quietly, though his expression was serious. If she ever did, he would leave without a big scene. Unlike some, he could respect what other's wanted. And besides that, he didn't want to look like a fool.

"Believe me, you would've bored me by now if you were going to." Minuit said, still smiling widely. "If you haven't noticed, I'm not a very patient wolf." She added wrly, a faint trace of a grin begenning to form. "I don't think you'll ever bore me... and besides, even if you did I'm not that mean. I wouldn't throw you away like a piece of trash. Who'd keep my pups occupied?" She asked with a laugh.
